On how leadership isn’t necessarily
about age or experience

Born, bred and educated in the Horowhenua, and one of six children, at the age of 29 Monique was the youngest Chief Executive in Local Government. At 34 she has returned home to Horowhenua as the Chief Executive of Horowhenua District Council.

Monique holds a LLB and BA from Victoria University of Wellington, is married to John and is Mum to Lachlan (7) and Georgia (5). Motivated in making a difference in communities across New Zealand, and by admission highly driven and ambitious, Monique is passionate about building high-performing organisations that empower individuals and teams to be the very best they can be.

Monique will spend her time on the big red dot talking about on how leadership isn’t necessarily about age or experience. We’re ready to learn from this one!
